Bouquet of wild vanilla pompona (25g)
Vanilla pompona, also called "vanilla" is a vanilla of a totally different type than the vast majority of vanilla which almost all comes from planifolia. Much shorter and wider, its "gorilla leather" appearance is the result of Mexican preparation work. Its astonishing scent reminiscent of leather, cinnamon and licorice is sought after by adventurers for BBQ marinades, but also for spicy desserts. This vanilla is not cultivated. It proliferates in the wild everywhere between Mexico and Brazil.
The weight and size of each vanilla is so variable that it is very difficult to estimate the number of pods in a 25g bunch, but we will try to place 5 to 7 pods there.
