Bunch of Tahitensis vanilla pods
The sumptuous vanilla of the hybrid variety created from vanilla planifolia and vanilla odorata is a marvel when it is produced in its original terroir, in Polynesia; but it does not lose its character when cultivated in Indonesia. VSome producers even manage to surpass the level of vanillin produced in Tahiti, but since the vanilla sector is a recent crop in Indonesia, the quality is very uneven from one producer to another. This is why we are constantly working to find new micro-batches produced by inspired producers.
This ceaseless work sometimes offers us wonderful discoveries that we are happy to share with you.
This micro batch of vanilla tahitensis produced in Indonesia is heavier and heavier than that produced in Polynesia and its intense exotic scent of coumarin, eucalyptus and candied ginger is something to enjoy! They weigh on average 4 grams, have an average humidity of 25% and a vanillin level of 1,6%.
A variant of 25 gram bouquet also offers a bouquet in a recoverable vial that you can then go fill in a zero waste shop near you to limit our production of waste.
